Brief Description of PE WSQ @
SIMTech
The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
and the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech)
have jointly developed a series of Precision Engineering (PE)
Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Diploma Programmes to help PE
workers advance in their careers through hands-on training in
cutting-edge PE technology. Through the Programmes, our workers will
be able to upgrade their skills in niche areas and be equipped for
higher job roles such as engineers and R&D personnel in the PE
industry. The range of courses available includes the PE WSQ
Specialist Diploma, PE WSQ Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing
Operations Management, PE WSQ Graduate Diploma in Precision
Measurements and Characterisation, Programme for Manufacturing
Operations Management, Programme for Precision Measurements and
Characterisation and Programme for SME Manufacturing Execellence
(S.M.E).
